Here’s some general information to help you attend Maker Faire Pittsburgh.  A complete Program Guide will be available in late September.


Maker Faire Pittsburgh will be held at Allegheny Commons on Pittsburgh’s North Side. Venues include:

You can purchase both one-day and two-day tickets to Maker Faire Pittsburgh. Tickets include access to more than 200 maker projects, including demonstrations, interactive activities and performances. Tickets also include all-day admission to Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.

The Children’s Museum’s Big Red Room Cafe will also be open from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday.


Parking is available at Allegheny Center parking lots, Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh parking lots and other nearby lots.

PAT bus route 54C stops near the event location. The North Side Station of the North Shore Connector via Port Authority’s light rail system, the T, is a short walk from the event. Bike parking is located between the Children’s Museum and Buhl Community Park.
