Fab Lab Carnegie Science Center will showcase our 3D printed prosthetic hands at our table. We will bring a 3D printer to show the process and also some 3Doodler pens for people to experiment with.

Fab Lab Carnegie Science Center

Fab Lab Carnegie Science Center thoughtfully integrates STEM competencies into authentic making experiences for learners of all levels. With digital fabrication technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines, students can learn essential skills while creatively designing projects. Fab Lab Carnegie Science Center offers onsite Teacher trainings, open workshop time, certification courses, and private engineering events. All of the technologies available in the Fab Lab are also housed in a mobile unit which travels to schools, camps, and libraries to deliver hands-on digital making programs.
