Exhibit: Hoop Weaving Workshop


Learn how to create a unique circular weaving using chunky yarn, wool roving, and an embroidery hoop.

You will start by learning how to set up an embroidery hoop as your weaving loom. Then you will start weaving in chunky yarn, and fuzzy wool to create interesting patterns and textures in your fiber art. The workshop will cover different weaving techniques and provide a variety of yarns and wool roving to experiment with. The project will result in a beautiful fiber art wall hanging.

All ages are welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Monica Yope is the owner and instructor at Pop Craft. She is an avid crafter with a passion for helping other people be creative. Monica lives in Mount Washington with her husband Chris and their three cats. When she’s not crafting, Monica captains her rec volleyball team, plays trivia, and throws themed parties. Monica is currently working on new craft workshops using reclaimed wood.
