Exhibit: How can drones be helpful?

south-fayette-logo.png

At this exhibit, middle and intermediate school students will share their experiences using, understanding, and programming drones for social good. Students will demonstrate different applications where drones can be used in society (rescue operations, air pollution sensing, investigation, etc.) and how they can be programmed to complete those tasks without putting human lives at risk. Students will then walk participants through the process of programming a drone through their course. Additionally, we will be providing resources for participants interested in building, programming, and flying drones throughout the event.
