Explore basic electronics and learn simple eTextiles techniques today in MAKESHOP, the permanent makerspace within Children's Museum of Pittsburgh. Activities will continue all day on a drop-in basis, and all ages and abilities are invited to join in and try something new. Space may be limited for some activities, so play, explore, discover and create with the museum's Teaching Artists and Educators while you wait!

Nationally known for their work around researching the educational side of making, particularly in informal and inter-generational environments, MAKESHOP believes that everybody is a learner, no matter their age or abilities.

MAKESHOP is an intergenerational makerspace at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, working to engage children, families, schools, museums, libraries and community centers to play, explore, learn, create and enjoy innovative and educational maker experiences for all ages.
