Sparks fly and metal crunches! People won't want to miss our Bots tearing up computers, telephones and projectors. Last year, we were a high traffic area for the Maker Faire. The action is not only entertaining, but also educational as our high school students will be on hand to answer questions and describe what the making process entailed. BotsIQ students are required to maintain a documentation binder as well as participate in informational interviews to the are equipped to demonstrate their engineering and manufacturing prowess. In addition, BotsIQ partners with local manufacturers who serve as mentors to our students and would be able to discuss the types of jobs available in manufacturing.
SWPA BotsIQ is an educational robotics competition for high school age students. It provides these students with a unique, hands-on experience that allows them to discover the possibilities of a career in the manufacturing sector as well as other science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) fields.
